1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or utilizing any services provided by cpanelfree.com, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not register for or use our services.

2. Description of Free Service

cpanelfree provides free web hosting including cPanel control panel access, PHP scripting support, MariaDB / MySQL databases, free subdomains, and automated SSL certificates. The free service is offered without setup fees or recurring charges for legitimate educational, personal, portfolio, and development projects.

3. Strict Acceptable Use Policy (Zero-Tolerance)

To maintain a secure and trustworthy server network for all users, cpanelfree enforces a strict zero-tolerance policy against abuse. Any hosting account found hosting, linking to, or facilitating the following activities will be terminated immediately without prior notice:

• Phishing & Deceptive Sites: Any imitation of banking portals, social media logins, credential harvesting forms, or fraudulent schemes.
• Malware & Exploits: Hosting viruses, Trojan horses, ransomware, keyloggers, botnet command-and-control nodes, or automated vulnerability scanners.
• Spam & Bulk Email: Unsolicited commercial bulk email, email spoofing, or hosting websites advertised via spam.
• Copyright Infringement & Piracy: Hosting pirated software, cracked license keys, warez, or unauthorized streaming media.
• Illegal or Harmful Content: Any content violating applicable local or international laws.

4. Fair Use & Resource Allocation

Our hosting cluster operates on shared server hardware designed for optimal efficiency. To ensure that one user cannot degrade performance for neighboring websites, the following fair-use guidelines apply:

• Web Content Only: Hosting accounts must be used for hosting live, public web applications. Accounts cannot be used as personal cloud backup storage, file dumps, or video streaming repositories.
• No Cryptomining or Continuous Background Processes: Cryptocurrency miners, persistent heavy background loops, or long-running daemon processes are prohibited.
• Bandwidth & Traffic: While we do not impose artificial 50,000 hit/day suspension traps, websites experiencing prolonged heavy enterprise traffic spikes should consider transitioning to our dedicated or paid plans to ensure sustained SLA performance.

5. Account Inactivity & Backups

To recycle server resources and prevent zombie accounts, accounts with zero traffic and zero logins for more than 180 consecutive days may be subject to automated archiving. Users are strongly advised to regularly download local backups of their website files and MySQL databases via cPanel.

6. Limitation of Liability

The free service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind. While we maintain a 99.98% measured uptime across our primary infrastructure, cpanelfree shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from data loss, downtime, or service interruption.
